Medicus Certified instructors are known throughout the golf world for their knowledge and expertise in the science of the golf stroke and their ability to train others in the fundamental relationships centered around precision alignments.

All Medicus instructors must undergo rigorous training before they can become Medicus certified and must attend and pass oral and written exams, be able to execute and demonstrate the concepts of Medicus GeoMetric Alignment s, and be evaluated as having excellent communication and people skills.

As a part of student membership you can select your own personal primary instructor who will be your One-On-One guide for all phases of your instruction and ongoing evaluation. You will directly correspond with your instructor through all phases of your Medicus training, allowing you to be personally guided through each step of your skill development. Some of our Certified Medicus Instructors can also be made available at various locations for live personal training lessons at many resorts and golf courses worldwide.

Besides earning his certification as a Medicus Master Instructor, Jeff Evans has served as Director of Golf for the men’s and women’s golf team at Mercer University, Perry Country Club, Bowden Golf Course, The Club at River Forest, and the Junior Tour Player Certification program for the National Golf Foundation. Jeff is also a published writer Golf Georgia magazine, has conducted clinics for the Special Olympics, and is lead golf instructor for the Boys and Girls Club of Central Georgia.

Lee Deitrick has an extensive background in golf instruction and has studied the science of the swing with many top name instructors such as Chuck Evans, Peter Kostis, Paul Bertholy, Mike Hebron, Tom Tomasello, Jim Suttie, Rick McCord, Dick Farley and over 20 years with Jim Flick. Lee earned a G.S.E.M., is an Authorized instructor of The Golfing Machine, is C.H.E.K. Certified in Golf Biomechanics and can improve performance in golfers by addressing golf-specific conditioning needs.

Kevin attended the San Diego Golf Academy where he began his PGA apprenticeship and turned Pro as of 2000 after a stint in the military and law enforcement. Kevin has also worked at Stoneridge Golf Club, Sedona Golf Resort and The Club at River Forest where he has held held the course record at each of these courses and has been Director of Junior golf and head of private instruction at Sedona. Other certifications Kevin holds include that of a Certified Henry Griffiths Club Fitter.

He completed his internship in 2004 as the Australian Golf Digest Trainee Player of the Year. David has also founded a Junior Golf Academy to help young juniors to become the players of the future. Kevin began his teaching career in 1994 at the Riverbend Golf Complex in Kent, Washington where he first met and studied under Chuck Evans (Medicus Golf Institute Director of Instruction). He spent time understudying J.D. Kline a Master Instructor for the Jim McLean Golf Schools, and is certified to teach the Jimmy Ballard Teaching System. Chuck Evans, Jim McLean, and Jimmy Ballard are all ranked among the top teaching professionals by Golf Magazine. Kevin also holds the course record at Mountain Falls with a 63.

David Burroughs, a Medicus Certified Instructor and an Authorized Instructor of The Golfing Machine, LLC, has been the Head Professional at Chester Washington Golf Course in L.A., Ca., since 2003. He instructs both Adults and Juniors, having conducted clinics nationwide for the USA Network/PGA Tour Youth Golf Program, awarded the Golf Digest Corporate Award for Junior Development in May 2004. David is one of less than 150 instructors worldwide to hold a degree in Golf Stroke Engineering.

He is also the youngest member on the Board of Directors for the Broward Junior Golf Association and played his college golf at Flagler College where he earned NAIA All-Conference. Dan has worked with players from the PGA tour, Nationwide Tour, Canadian Tour, South American Tour, Golden Bear Tour, Gateway Tour, and Grey Goose Tour and Instructed 7 Broward County High School 1st Team All-County golfers.

Scott is a graduate of the Professional Golf Management Program at Mississippi State University and a Class A member of the PGA of America since 1995. As an accomplished junior player, Scott turned his focus to teaching the game and became a teaching assistant and then an instructor for the Golf Digest Instruction Schools. Under the tutelage of many Top 100 instructors, to name a few, Mark Wood, Tom Ness, Chuck Cook, Bob Toski, Chuck Evans, Scott has the knowledge and understanding of the golf swing to help anyone. Jeff is a Class A PGA Member. He attended Troy State University where he earned All American honors. Jeff was also a highly ranked Florida junior and amateur player. He is a former Ben Hogan Tour Card holder and has won 25+ professional events. Even though still competing at a high level, Jeff turned his attentions to teaching golf as his profession in 1993. Since then he has had the honor of training with and learning from some of the games Top 100 instructors.

John Dochety - MGI Master Director

John is the Head Golf Professional at Lakewood Golf & Country Club in Tullahoma, Tennessee. He is a PGA Member and Professional Golf Management graduate from Mississippi State University. Also, John is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute as one of their golf fitness instructors. Prior to his current position, John worked at East Lake Golf Club where he got to work closely with the PGA Tour for the season ending TOUR Championship. Also he has worked at Cherry Hills Country Club, Old Waverly Golf Club & Annandale Golf Club. He loves helping golfers gain knowledge from good information and using many different ways of communication to help speed the process of understanding. John enjoys studying the work of Homer Kelly and the geometry, bio-mechanics, and science that govern the game.

Quintin has successfully completed his Masters Level Training with Medicus Golf Institute under the tutelage of Executive Director of Instruction Chuck Evans and is now a Medicus Golf Certified Instructor. Quintin will be taking the lead in the European market for Medicus Golf and besides providing one-on-one lessons and golf schools; he will head the Medicus Player Development Program for both Junior and Tour Players.

Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Quintin was a keen and very talented sportsman. After completing his apprenticeship he accepted a position as Head Teaching Professional at the prestigious Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf club followed by 2 more with the Cranfield Academy in the UK. Quintin was then was offered a position to teach at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy (at DLGA La Cala) in February 2002 where he presently resides.

Quintin is a PGA Professional and a senior certified Leadbetter instructor and also the Director of the Academy and has been privileged to work with European Tournament Professionals as well as leading Amateur golfers from around Europe during his 6 years at La Cala. Quintin also serves as Instructional adviser for various Golfing Magazines. He is regarded as a pioneer in the art of using 3D technology to teach golf with his extensive work with the TaylorMade MATT System as well as the Bentley K-Vest.
