About Pahrump
Today the Pahrump Valley is one of the fastest growing towns in Nevada and the United States. It is growing at an annual rate of approximately 4%. Pahrump is located 50 miles west of the south end of Las Vegas and 60 miles east of Death Valley. The town’s near proximity to Las Vegas makes for easy access to world class air service.

The breath-taking sunsets with the picturesque Mt. Charleston and the Spring Mountains to the east and the Nopah Vista Mountains to the west are a sight to behold. There are ample recreational opportunities associated with these mountains as well as the recreation facilities of Death Valley.

Kevin Wiggins
Kevin began his teaching career in 1994 at the Riverbend Golf Complex in Kent, Washington where he first met and studied under Chuck Evans (Medicus Golf Institute Director of Instruction). He spent time understudying J.D. Kline a Master Instructor for the Jim McLean Golf Schools, and is certified to teach the Jimmy Ballard Teaching System. Chuck Evans, Jim McLean, and Jimmy Ballard are all ranked among the top teaching professionals by Golf Magazine. Kevin also holds the course record at Mountain Falls with a 63.

Nelson Said
Born in Ottawa, Canada, Nelson played collegiate golf at Union College in New York. Nelson came to Pahrump almost 2 years ago after spending 15 years as a Mortgage Broker in the San Francisco area. Nelson is an accomplished player and has spent many hours working with Kevin Wiggins to perfect his teaching style. Nelson has been very successful in these early stages of his teaching career. He identifies well with the individual needs of his students and has drastically improved the golf games of his students.

Host Golf Course Facility

Located in the William Lyon Homes master-planned community of Mountain Falls is one of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses in Southern Nevada. Designed by Cal Olson, the front nine opened in 2002 followed by the Nicklaus designed back nine in 2003.

The 18-hole “Mountain Falls” course is filled with lush fairways, smooth greens, superb driving range and breathtaking surroundings. The brilliant mountain scenery of Southern Nevada is the backdrop for this golfing oasis in the desert. Mountain Falls Golf Club ranges from 5,414 up to 7,082 yards, making this par 72 parkland course perfect for every skill level.

The Grill Room serves breakfast and lunch daily with dinner service on Thursday through Sunday where reservations are recommended.
